The lates news about Earthquake in San Diego An earthquake can be happened any time and anywhere. It builds over days or weeks, or hits suddenly, without warning. What are you doing if there is an earthquake at your area like the San Diego earthquake? What can you do ?
Referring to the articles from FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency ), please stay as safe as possible during an earthquake. Be aware that some earthquakes are actually foreshocks and a larger earthquake might occur. Minimize your movements to a few steps to a nearby safe place and stay indoors until the shaking has stopped and you are sure exiting is safe.
Lucky that in the yesterday’s San Diego earthquake, there is no immediate reports of damage or injuries until now, but authorities said they were receiving numerous calls about the temblor.
It’s unclear what fault the quake struck on. The Newport-Inglewood fault, which has produced several powerful temblors, runs through that general area. Lucy Jones, seismologist at the U.S. Geological Survey, said the earthquake appears to be consistent with a rupture on the Newport-Inglewood fault. (She said the quake was too small to break the surface, so they can’t definitively identify faults.) Hope that the earthquakes today is over
